I'm too lazy to look up the comparibles for a RFA (I don't think he's got arbitration rights) 40 point mid pairing defenseman.
I expect he's going to be asking for about 4 to 4.5 and maybe a bridge deal.
But he was pretty terrible except on the pp in the playoffs.
Kostin is going to be the interesting one, because he's exactly what the Oilers need to retain. If he gets 2 and Bouch gets 4. The Oilers are out of room and have to trade Yamamoto and try to get rid of Campbell and replace them with league minimum players.
I don't expect big changes for the Oilers because of their cap space.
Pugsly Adams won't get fired as a coach, but he needs to be humbled a bit. the poor defensive coverage. 5v5 failures, and atrocious line matching against the Eichel line and the goaltending indecision are on him.

Thank god the Oil didn't win, but I am not gonna pretend I am not jealous they get to enjoy playoff hockey right now on a yearly basis instead of every second year.

Around here? Yup!
Want to cheerlead the oil and pump up their even strength game (which btw lost them the series)? You'll find a sympathetic audience at hfOil that will echo your plight.
On CP it's best to tone it down, or expect to have it thrown back in your face when you're proven wrong (which he was).
He tried to force a narrative here and seemed offended when people questioned whether the Oilers were up to snuff in all situations and not in fact this unstoppable force.
The essential core of what needs to be learned is can be boiled down to one simple law: E=NG.
I'll give him more credit than pretend Flames posters though. At least he can be upfront about his allegiance.

What makes you think I'm not chilled out?
Just calling a spade a spade.
How often do you touch grass bro? Don't embarrass yourself from your dank cubicle. Sounds like that's what you need.

Imagine putting oiler fans and undercover oiler trolls in their place after they begged for it for weeks with some well earned jabs and then flames fans rushing to their defense.
Man, what happened to this place. Lame. Gross!
E=NG. Or did did people forget?
CP got soft.

I think what people are trying to say is that you've taken the usual funny potshots at Oilers fans and made them into something else that's not funny. And now you're lashing out at people who pointed it out.

6 different usernames and just out of the sin bin. Yeah definitely not taking any advice from you on how to act on CP.
Thanks everyone else. We cheer for different teams, but most here are stand up people. That why I stick around.

I'm just confused as to why.
There are shots across the bow at oiler fans constantly here, and more so during the last few weeks when they were more active. Why is mine singled out?
I didn't personally insult the guy. How is suggesting to someone to be humble when he couldn't admit to any weakness in his team in all his back and forths here being out of line?
And yeah im not the best comedian. Dont think i was trying to be. But thought i made some good points. Honestly befuddling.
This would go a lot better if people would just let the banter happen and participate, rather than judging the quality of other people posting style.
Frankly ruins this place and stumps the flow where there could be better and more enjoyable conversation.

This is playing out exactly the same way that your wall of shame did.
People tried to tell you why it seemed to cross a line.
You ignored that feedback and reacted in a combative manner.
Maybe reflect a little instead and try to hear what people are trying to tell you.

Wasn't the Wall of Shame poster a different name?

2, and the first self-retired. Pretty exaggerated.
Lots of posters get sin binned.

Thanks, I have. No lines have really been crossed here that I can discern. Bingo confirmed that in the last page.
Maybe try letting stuff from a year ago slide rather than holding on to these old gripes you have with me.
If posters like Pepsi can move on (and even come to appreciate the Wall), then surely so can you.
Maybe it's time to lighten up and stop this trying to teach lessons to people who didnt ask for it, and just want to chat about hockey in their own way, even if it skirts the line from time to time.
It's a rivalry after all. Some of us just despise the Oilers with every ounce of our being. Maybe just let us do that.

Am I the only one who doesn't pay enough attention to know when someone is a returning poster under a different name? I never know who these posters are/were.
What names did he previously use? Presumably something shorter than the current one.

The name escapes me but I believe he had the Hot Rod avatar. Come to think of it why doesn't anyone use HotRod as a username?

Talking around people in third person when they're present is awkward.
It's pretty easy to just ask.
Unlike many banned posters that came back covertly under different usernames, it's a bit different when you self-banned on purpose. I'm happy to just tell you lol.

I was right about the avatar wasn't I? Why did you self-ban yourself?
