Oh yeah, I'm not trying to judge him based off one game. I'm sure it's difficult going through the immigration process joining a new team, and trying to learn some of the systems. I was just wondering if anyone noticed something that stands out about his play, something I didn't.

What are you talking about?

Rittich has a career QS% of .534 including his atrocious year last year.

Your boy Jacob Markstrom has a career QS% of .536

I thought Taffaly had a particularly bad game.

"My boy" was 2nd in Vezina voting

Rittich was almost out of the league and is lucky to be a backup

God this place is ####ing stupid after a loss...even preseason

Imagine a Flames fan suggesting Rittich is on Markstroms level

Ruzicka/Zohorna outshot the Jets 8-0 at five on five and had three high danger chances for to zero against. I thought they played solid if not unspectacular hockey. Just how Daryl likes it.

Also I know we all love Stone but I just don’t think he can defend at an adequate level consistently.

Regardless how you people spell Toffoli, he's not top line RW material. Plays die on his stick, it's like his play continues to deteriorate as time goes by and not getting better. I can't seem to find a silver lining with him, total buyers remorse. I didn't like what we gave up to get him then and I still feel that now. If there ever was a guy that has good numbers but doesn't meet the eye test, he could be the poster child. Thankfully his salary isn't debilitating.

He has struggled in the last couple games - especially tonight. At this point, my money is on Mackey for the #6 spot.

It's preseason. This is where you work the kinks out and shake rust off and build chemistry. And it still isn't going to be instant after that either. 20gp is the rule right?

Pretty sure there’s a voodoo curse or something with the Flames top line RW spot. Hudler, leads the league in EV scoring, then out of the league 3 years later, then gets busted for doing coke on a plane (or whatever it was). Brouwer, competent NHLer in other places, immediate cliff dive into irrelevance, career over, Ferland, looking great, complete skills package, and then injured, career over, Neal, supposed real deal, instantly the worst player to put on a Flames jersey, career over, Tkachuk, super talent, supposed eventual face of the team, wants out, gone. We’ll see with Toffoli but idk if he can break this curse. I only hope Mangiapane can dodge it once he’s inevitably promoted.
