I guess I can't comment on jerseys-I like the Goat Head jerseys, and I'm the only human being alive who liked the "Buffaslug" jersey....

I might be in the minority on this, but nothing about this logo says “Flames” to me. Works as a shoulder patch, but would be pretty terrible as a main logo on a jersey.

It's not even a great professional level shoulder patch, imo. I'm not sure why that logo has always had such a great following on CP over the years.
It manages to be busy and bland at the same time.

Well it's a shoulder patch. In order for it to be a logo I would think some adjustments would be made.

I think it's just kind of a classic style logo. I think it could be better for sure. A horse head with fire in his nostrils doesn't suggest Calgary Flames to me either. I would think mustangs, or something else silly.
I would prefer to keep the Flaming C over anything, and not use a black jersey. I'd just like to see something even somewhat creative with the Flames. The wordmark jersey was just terrible in every way. I actually thought the blasty jerseys looked good on tv last time out, but it's just kind of boring.
I would be interested to see a white C instead of Blasty as well..
Someone posted these years ago, and I thought it was at least an interesting starting point... Probably needs more red, or yellow.

I've talked to folks with the Flames about the possibility of graphite/grey or yellow jerseys. Suffice it to say, I don't think we'll ever see either.

Ooh.. That's a good point that didn't exist when these were made... But there are also multiple black and red jerseys in the league.
Meh.. Maybe the Blasty Jersey will grow on me lol.. I did think it looked pretty good on tv, I just don't think I'd ever buy one. Rather stick with the retro.

To me, it's still hard to believe that it was a full-time road jersey for three full seasons (three seasons where the Flames didn't have a red jersey at all).

I just think we should go for something a little different with a third. I just find black jerseys boring, though I do like what Dallas did with theirs just because it's different. So maybe something like that would be cool to see. I dunno, I just hoping for something a little different, (not Ronald McDonald retros different either)  .

I agree it is a touch busy though, and would need some tweaks to be used.
I don't think anyone can say that the shoulder patch is a poor design and think the Blasty is well designed. It's a pretty poorly designed logo.

The Vegas jerseys are already a rip off of the old Canucks jerseys with colours slightly adjusted.

I also really like them, but this is true.
I personally thought the red/yellow striping on our reverse retros last year resembled Canuck jerseys with a flames logo. Really liked them but couldn’t get that out of my mind when I saw them.
Excited to see what comes out.
