I don't know why they want our accolades for being a playoff team in the worst division over a heap of teams never predicted to be there, in a season where they're bottom 10 in goals allowed, played 30% of their games against tired teams, faced more backups than any playoff team I can remember and earned most of their recent points (in the "hottest" stretch of the season) in 3 on 3 and shootouts.

The team is up to the same #### they have been for years, just with a little more firepower in the top 6 this time. That's really all I see.

The Flames have allowed 50 goals less than the Oilers while putting up similar offense. Sorry, I'm not giving you props for being exactly what a first round exit club looks like.

I mean congrats I guess, if that's what you were going for.

that's the funny thing...the fans and media that said they would win the division and maybe the conference and cup are now amazed they are in a playoff spot.

If Vegas and LA don't have massive injuries they are fighting it out for a wildcard

I wasn’t trying to infuriate you dino, sorry if I did. I was only commenting on the game and the way some in this forum, yourself included, react to the oilers playing well. Everything’s a fluke whenever they win. How many pucks have rung off the flames post this year? It’s part of the game. Just like reffing, I can’t tell you the amount of times the refs miss calls against the oilers opponents. It’s the same for every team. All I’m saying is there isn’t any consistency with these comments when it comes to the oilers. Hopefully we meet in the playoffs at some point, win or lose, I think that would be great.
