I have no skin in the game beyond saying Gimp has been pretty reliable and trustworthy on other stuff in person, so I'd give him the benefit of doubt. Sure the skin hasn't panned out as expected but it was always a bit of a longshot given the timing and he seems to be working to try to get something done.

Just as much as Gimp can put you on ignore, JamesTaylor, you can also avoid the thread just as easily.

You said he already printed the materials.
After that, you changed the design to not have a player (after he printed?)
And now the design depends on whether Tkachuk signs?

I appreciate that you are here on CP and not disappearing so maybe just a clear, emotionless accounting of what has transpired would be helpful. It's really just for the sake of your reputation.

yes i got an email from king skinz saying "printing now" then he had a job and we couldn't get me in and said how bout next week and didn't talk for 3k for a while. Things went to the back burner a bit due to family problems i won't post can pm me if you want

last night I got hold of him and said he's happy to get it done, i replied asking "dd you print everything idon't want waste your material " haven't received response yet.

unfortunately what we want sometimes doesn't work out as easily as it sounds in our mind lol the plan was playoffs, logistically it wasn't possible.

i don't personally think doing it in time for the season is that bad for plan b, sure it's not ideal but gives me time to not rush or be stressful. Btw i give more to people than i've ever received i've been a member since 2004 and I have never asked for money for anything not even once. I'm a giver i don't like getting anything to be honest, this had nothing to do with money, it sounded like fun after so many ####ty seasons.

I don't see the need to make this stressful so take a deep breath, don't worry, your donation is still going towards the wrap it will be so cool when it's done.

I don’t question the intent of the OP with a fun little idea, but this idea seems so far past it’s best before date for that it seems like it would be best just to pull the plug and return the money. (Assuming it isn’t too late).

i took that email down from my post because i didn't block out the guys info, i was trying to be transparent but in hindsight i shouldn't share personal correspondence without permission.

I think the bbq would be good because everyone will understand the situation better and I won't just be a name on a forum. I think it's easy to have misunderstandings and get things blown out of proportion over txt and in my experience a lot of people are totally different in person than txt.

I have no skin in the game, so whatever floats your boat. To me, the idea peaked with the mock ups of Scorch, Yanet, etc. I can’t help but think the execution of the idea will likely be underwhelming and perhaps lead to bad feelings. Better just to avoid that, IMO.

Actually, nevermind. I forgot how this went. Looks like you got the design revised to not include any players back in early June.
