Easy to say that, but find another guy at his cost and value that you could add at this cost.

Treliving says he likes the versatility of a player like Jarnkrok. Will be in Calgary tomorrow and will stay with Lindy to start.

A low second and a third? I don't think so.
Jarnkrok is basically the ideal third-line forward. This is a perfect add.

Plenty of line up options. Super exciting, though I have to admit, I know very little of jarnkrok.

Played mostly wing this year, mostly with Yanni Gourde and Appleton, but also with Gourde and various other wingers like Tanev, Schwartz and Blackwell. Some power play time but that’s Seattle. In Nashville he played a lot with Granlund.

Quite expensive but the perfect type of player for the playoffs.
I assume that he will be on a line with Backlund and Coleman.
Jamkrok-Backlund-Coleman is going to be such a pain to play against.

Over .5 PPG. His goal scoring has risen on a GPG basis during the covid shortened seasons.

A 30 point middle six pure rental for a 2nd and 3rd is an overpay. If one is being objective. But, who cares. This is our shot.

You have to factor in salary nowadays though, it's not as simple as looking at a player when assessing value.

26 points in 49 games is 43 points over a whole season. And that was his production on a junk Kraken team.

I wonder how much pull Lindholm has on some of these recent signings? Flames have a acquired some guys who have close ties with our current group. Although the Flames have thier own criteria, I wonder if that is slightly by design or just a bit of luck. Either way a tight group is going to play hard for each other.

He will put up better numbers on the Flames too, the Kraken are an offensively challenged team, and him putting up those numbers within that context means he should easily produce more in a Flames jersey, look at Toffoli for example A.

34 in 64 in 2019-20, 28 in 49 last year, 26 in 49 this year on a bad team. He’s more like a 42-45 point player.

Again Floridas 2nd will be close to a 3rd. Good trade for a player of his calibre plus salary retained and we all know how Francis is obsessed with free cap space so he likely thought it was huge value covering 50% salary.
It’s a fair trade I think.
Basically 2x 3rds and a 7th to bolster the top 9 for a playoff run. Pretty good actually.
