Because the puck was going across the crease originally. And he made the first save.

Sometimes when the other team scores it's not all Markstrom's fault.

I don’t think that’s fair. Jamie Benn is all alone standing right in front/on top of the goalie. That’s horrible defence above all else.

The Flames have been fading away from the front of the offensive net all night/unable to get close to it…and then defensively, we allow players to stand on top of our goalie.

This game so far is a great example as to why we struggle when games get hard - nobody is crashing the net on the Flames, and the opposition is all over our goalie/the slot.
