Speed, puck retrieving and some sort of finishing ability, preferably on the right side is needed.
Can this open up for other roster moves, like moving back Lindholm back to wing for example?
I like the player, I like the idea and I don’t want to look at it in a vacuum.
Sutter is liked and known for making everyone know their roles. Coleman would look great with Backlund and Pitlick. They’d make life miserable for any line in the league while putting a decent amount of pucks in the net while adding a few bruises.

UNVERIFIED RUMOUR:
Just got a series of texts from a family member who lives in Calgary and works in oil and gas. He spoke with someone also in the industry today who has a brother who plays for the Flames. This person told him that Coleman is calling all the guys he knows from the Flames, asking about the city, about the team, etc. What Sutter is like to play for, if Johnny will stick around, questions like that. Expects to be offered a contract on July 1 from the Flames.
I know peddling in rumours like this is dangerous territory, but I trust this person and it sounds legit to me. Perhaps a "where there's smoke there could be fire" kinda thing. But take this with a grain of salt obviously.
