At the end of the season, I hope Giordano does an honest assessment of where he’s at and hangs it up if he decides his game is not at the level it should be as captain of the Calgary Flames. He’s been a great leader and player but if the game has passed him by I hope he recognizes it and doesn’t stick around simply for the money (I know...easy for me to say). His salary would do a lot to get this team on the right track next year.

Yikes. I was stuck at work earlier, so thankfully I didn't have to torture myself by watching this game. If I'm Treliving, I'm hard at work right now trying to figure out ways to overhaul this roster for this coming off season. Give Sutter something he can work with FFS. And for the love of all that is holy, get some offensive talent that can actually find the back of the net once in a while.
And maybe hire a new PP coach while you're at it.

Hard to disagree with you on that. Tkachuk years away from Captaincy with such juvenile behavior. Explains the collapses all season. Zero mental toughness or maturity.
What a sudden train wreck this season has become. Did not see us being this bad considering the UFA signings.
Feel a bit sorry for BT. This core has fooled him into believing they are something they definitely are not.
At least we won't waste our 3rd and 4th round picks on the likes of 6-7D depth.

Until someone earns the captaincy, we shouldn't have one. Culture change doesn't end with bringing in Sutter - there is still lots of work to do.
This organization has engrained culture of losing.
