Inclusivity is a two-way street. How do i include someone who isnt open to inclusion?
Olympic boycotts are not unprecedented. This is merely a simple way to ensure the athletes arent punished. If anything, by having multiple countries host the games at once, its the most inclusive games of all time!

What happens when an Olympics sponsor has been banned by the Chinese government from sales and-or operations in China?

The IOC bends over and takes it. More than likely removing the sponsor for a more Chinese friendly one.

To me that should be the purpose of the Asian Infrastructure bank that has continued to send money through China over the last two years. Feed it to other nations in Asia that want to compete in the manufacturing world with China.
I think Canada really needs to find a way to address the 50 billion dollar trade deficit with China as well. Anything sanctioning wise is going to hurt, but its a matter of doing it now or really paying for it later as China increases its trade strength and economy and really starts putting the hammer to Canada whenever we don't jump to please them.

Correct, as I said, #### Them.
To be clear I am saying to #### the Chinese Government, and not the Chinese people or people of Chinese heritage.

I mean can we really "####" them?
If the USA turned into a dictatorship and started herding people into prison camps, would we just say #### them, and cease trade?
Be realistic.
Trade with China is never going away, despite the fact they are authoritarian with gross human rights abuses.

But it wasn't always like this, rampant consumerism created this issue.
But the USA, warts and all, is nowhere near the level of the Government of China (again I am not throwing dispersions at the Chinese people or those of Chinese heritage).
Personally, I'd be happy to spend more on an item knowing it didn't go to support the Chinese Government.
I have tried to buy less and less Made in China, but I will be honest it is hard and requires some research.
I guess we have to decide is we are a Democracy that espouses Human Rights or not.
Hey BTW I am waiting for this list:

I'm not going to make a list of good things an ancient civilization like China has done. Science, culture, philosophy should suffice.
More recently, Chinese food and fighting the Japanese Empire from 1905-1945.
