So any word from Jim Matheson about Nesterov wearing Oiler legend Sam Gagner’s 89? One would think that number should be untouchable league wide by now.

I know it's early, but liking what I see. The team seems to have a lot more options than just the standard give the puck to Gaudreau and let him carry it into the zone.

Andersson especially looks great, way more confident in the offensive zone.

I love it so far. Splitting up Lindholm from Monny and Johnny just makes so much sense
