Whoever coaches the team needs to dress like Neeson in that movie.

Every night.

The Davey Jones costume that Nighy wears would likely get unbearably hot and suffocating.

Not really. A lot of the old people in Toronto are dinosaurs.

This Kraken concept from Bowen Hobbs is IMHO absolutely gorgeous... The full sized image for those who want to see the logo in detail:

The logo should be the Kraken pulling a ship into the watery depths in a thunderstorm rather than a Disneyfied squid head imo.

I much prefer any one of the four logos I posted above. I especially like this one:

Might have to change the colour scheme, but I like the tentacle wrapped around a trident forming a "S." The "SEATTLE" wording is a nice homage to the Metropolitans.

I would have gone with Seattle HC or even better, Puget Sound HC. I think the NHL could use a few euro style names. Kraken will be infinitely more marketable though so it makes sense they went in that direction.

That third one on the right is uglier than a bouquet of smashed arse-holes.

Which one? Its Seattle, you're going to have to be more specific.

Or it just turns into a 'The Walking Dead' style Herd of Crackheads.

Is release the Kraken copyrighted? I know it's a popular phrase, just don't know from where and if the Seattle team could use it.

Last thing these guys want is another Golden Knights fiasco with the name and whatnot

It’s a single line from a movie (and a remake). Really, it’s three words, and it’s been memed a ton.
