It really does look like the end of the era for the Patriots. They have been good for a long time but a lot of key players are on the wrong side of their prime. Maybe Brady comes back next season but chances are he will be worse as players simply don't improve at 43 years old. It's kind of crazy he could get a team into the playoffs at the age of 42 (a testament to his commitment and fitness regimes) but he's starting to decline fast.

They had a 1st round pick get injured as well as Josh Gordon being Josh Gordon. Then they traded for Sanu... they made enough attempts, they're just not good enough this year
