It's really frustrating. Next time that comes up, ask that person to play you a song where Eminem uses it.

Now for the more lawyery response. It all depends. Was it a question asked during the interview? Did it happen more than once? What was the full context?
It's likely that if this was a private business, with no pr side to it, that it wouldn't amount to a cause termination. It would lead to disciplinary measures, but likely would not be cause.
The real question is if this was misconduct that has caused irreparable harm to the employment relationship. It just might have because of the profile of the job.

The NHL contracts are pretty different stuff. They are not typical employment law. It’s more like a personal services contract, like for an actor, or the engagement of a high level contractor. The coaches contracts aren’t as standard as a player contract but they are pretty similar.

I thought the same thing, though, there's accusations of him using it in some videos out there.....

Please, provide me an example of people saying he should be thrown out on his ear based on that tweet. I think everyone is saying it’s alarming and if it’s founded, he needs to be fired.

I actually googled if he (Eminem) had used it in any tracks before I wrote this, and while there are reports of him using the word on a diss track from back before he was famous, it does not appear he's ever used it on a studio release, so I think the point still stands.

I feel we should call this movement against coaches "Me 2" in honor of the number Commodore wore with the Flames

My thoughts exactly. Was too scared to point that out during this situation lol.
The players all together probably feel uncomfortable so if the rumors are true then that puts them in an awkward position, especially with the teams problems as of now.

Yeh, I figured so. There's so many things in the NHL staff community that fly in the face of anything I've ever seen that are normal.
I'd like to see one.
Also, he would still probably be able to collect his Employment Standards one week severance.

I see what you did there.
He has admitted he said it in the past but got educated and refrained thereafter.

So in other words, they follow a different set of rules, (laws) than "typical employment"?

So Peters had nothing to do with Babcock until 2010-11 and somehow Aliu lumps them in together before they worked in the league? I fail to see how he is a Babcock disciple if he said this before he worked with him.

Depends on what you mean by that. The ESC has a ton of exemptions and you can apply for others. For example, associates at a law firm are not subject to the Code. But moreover, it’s likely that the contract provides for greater protections than an open ended employment agreement anyway. Most of these private contracts spell out how much notice you get, what the early termination payment will be, breaches, non-disclosure, non-competition, etc.
Coaching staff may not be employees at all - they may be independent contractors.
