Do you think another coaches system would do them better? I don't know how much of this is on coaches at this point. Frustrating

I do, big trade.
I pick Monahan, because he’s the one easiest to replace. Chucky and Johnny are off the table...unless the offer for Johnny was astronomical.

Team looks sad and feeling sorry for themselves. Zero purpose in their game right now. Team needs at least 1 line to get going and start gaining some zone time and help set the next line up for success.

Agreed. This is pretty much all on the players right now IMO, and it'll be up to them to get themselves out of it.

The PP is a joke, and the line blender has been a disaster, but don’t get me wrong - I’m not saying I want a new coach. I’m just saying they 100% share in the blame.

Watching the game tonight you just don’t see any emotion. It’s like they know they aren’t coming back and have just accepted the loss. I’ve never been someone to criticize players work habits in the off season, but I seriously question their desire to win and “want it.” I doubt you see Johnny investing as much time as Iginla did to his craft.
Hopeful this is just a slump and they haven’t found that next gear yet but I’m starting to think there are much larger issues.
