I was 7 when they won the cup and have been a die hard ever since.
Dumbest decision of my life. 30 years of failure outside of 1 Cinderella run.
Flames gonna flames. Losing in the first round is all this franchise knows how to do.

I think it's the right move. The rest of the team should know they don't have him back there to lean on anymore, and they might play a different game in front of Rittich.
Put Smith in and he'll play great, the team will likely play the same in front of him, and the result will be the same.

What about cheering for Flames?; Do you think the guys are out there trying to lose? It is a team game, we are being out coached.

Smith is putting up a historic playoff performance right now, easily the best goalie in the playoffs IMO.
His teammates are ####ting all over it.
Feels like 2007 against the wings but with even less give a #### up front.

Why did any of ya expect any difference. Sorry but when eat bread, doc and Hathaway carry your team for the last month before the playoffs we are done. Heard this song to many times as a Flames fan. Is there something in the water in Calgary, just too soft come playoffs. At least in 04 we had guys like Simon, now we hope Neil can be our physical presence lol!

Treliving really should start shopping Monahan and Gaudreau in the off season, you can't win anything in this league with core players who are that soft when the games really matter

I’m glad Tre didn’t do anything major. Now we know that we can’t rely on Gaudreau and Monahan to lead this team in the playoffs. It would have been a waste of assets to make a big play.
Tre said he didn’t know what we had until we see, now we know.
I say Johnny and Mony for Taylor Hall and the first overall. Maybe the Devils will bite on the local boy.

All I can hope for is the Flames squeak out a win in game 5. Somehow pull off a miracle in game 6 and we can see how game 7 goes.
