OMG- I remember getting slashed like that when I played girls' hockey and it broke my finger in three places. That was such a 'throbbing' pain- made it hard to concentrate on anything. Of course, after the game I went into the other team's dressing room and started pulling the hair of the perpetrator.. lol Good times!
