Just finished watching the first period. Strong play by the Flames, especially liked the third D pair. I thought Malkin had a one game suspension? I guess he served it already?

Derek Ryan has 23 points on the season but 9 in his last 10. A beast on faceoffs and so responsible defensively. IMO the unsung hero on the team so far this season.

Crosby after 4 years: 397 points in 280 games (1.42 ppg). 3 playoffs, 2 conference championship, 1 Stanley Cup, 1 Art Ross, 1 Hart, 1 Ted Lindsay.
McDavid: 338 points in 265 games (1.28 ppg). 1 playoffs, 1 series win, 2 Art Ross, 1 Hart, 2 Ted Lindsay.

In my post game comment I said the following.
Flames 3rd period magic was missing. As in you know, team that has a rep of a team that dominates in 3rd periods but got outscored.
Almost gave away a 5-2 lead. Game ended 5-4 with Pens pressing late.
PK was terrible. 4 PK goals. (one with Tkachuk just leaving the penalty box)
What are we disputing here? If those are truly facts or not? Is this really why you are on a hockey forum?
I get jumped by a mob of people for saying the above, but posts like yours are fine?

Had no idea he had that many points in that time frame but Ive been thinking he has been playing really well as of late. Beyond the points just looks way more confident out there and creating.
