Three or four penalties before they actually put a guy in the box but I digress, NHL officiating is not a problem.

This #49 ref is ####img unbelievable. He’s missed for blatant penalties right in front of him in the past 5 minutes. The back ref just had to make that call for him.

Neal looks great. Making really nice plays to set his linemates up in good positions with the puck.
I've also seen him take 3 hard accurate shots, as opposed to the odd half-speed shots to the goalie's chest most of the season.

Not that it excuses it, but it’s his first NHL game. He did the warm up loop on his own.
