Man the flames sure could use a scoring right winger and goalie!

I feel like we’ve had this conversation before.

Put Rittich in for the 3rd, not even joking. Flames ####ing around with this goalie situation just to see Smith still sucks. He’s done, he won’t be back in the league next year.

The only line I've liked tonight has been the second line. Hope we see the Peters Blender on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th. Maybe

Gaudreau-Lindholm-Neal
Jankowski-Monahan-Czarnik
Gaudreau/Bennett/Tkachuk-Ryan-Hathaway

?

These are the kind of games where the team that completely doesn't deserve to win, steals the win because the other team didn't convert on their chances.

You said they had no mojo. They just spent 3 minutes straight in the O zone with chance after chance.

Haha I was being sarcastic. But yes I agree. I love seeing a player be able to play to their strengths.

Calgary will still have two games in hand following tonight but yes the point still stands. The Flames need this one tonight.

Lomberg's the right one to be eating popcorn or only working 5-8 minutes a night. Who else do you want taking that role?

Monahan needs to shift gears, way too many two strides and coasting going on there.

Just stick with it CGY. Playing well - use positive emotions. Maybe draw a PP for a quick strike. They just need to use their legs, play smart, finish and battle hard.

This is the quietest, least intense, and most boring game of the season so far. Bad hockey. The Flames look way better than the Kings but they aren't even all that sharp.

Yes, that's what a poor coach would do.

Second game against a team who played the night before. On top of that, playing their back up goalie. Flames better show up and dominate the third.

On a further note, these UCP/shaping Alberta ads are annoying.

I like TJs spirit. He’s back and playing his game. Happy for you, your family and TJ.

I say again, the first goal by Dallas looked just like the one in this game. Yet everyone (correctly) blamed the defence in that game, but not this one. It's a tough save when the puck comes from behind the net to an open guy in the slot.
