The difference is harmonic wouldn't have had to fight and potentially got himself a concussion or broken jaw. Nhl players still answer cheap shots. You go without a fighter and you end up with middleweight getting messed up.

I’m not thinking it needs to be a goon, just somebody larger and with a mean streak to make them think twice. It won’t stop every encounter, but I argue it does improve morale and emotion if you have the ability to not completely always get physically dominated.

Nah, I agree with Jiri, fighting solves nothing, that fight from Hamonic was worthless.
Need guys who aren't shrinking violets.
Youngest guy on the team just had his clock cleaned as he was defenseless on the ice.
The rest of the game should be about answering that as a team, every shift.

I simply don’t understand what a headshot is in the nhl. The announcers kind of shrugged it off as a “big hit” which looks like a total head shot to me.
Other times there will be what I see as a clean hit and the announcers freak out.
