Commodore on 960 says Maroon might be going to the Blues or Jets.

We have 4 very good defense prospects. All 4 of them aren't going to make the Flames. The Flames job now is to pick out the best two or three and turn the others into currency. That wouldn't gut the team, we'd still have a couple great D prospects and potentially another top-6 forwards. That's how good teams are built, through good drafting and talent evaluation.

Stewart is not replacing Ferland or even Brouwer. He will be the new whipping boy.

But what it the 2-3 the Flames think are the best are the exact ones the other teams want? Which is likely the case.

Yup, I think he'll be in and out of the lineup. He's incredibly slow and lazy but definitely more skilled than Lomberg and Hathaway, so he'll get his chances.

So a team that has trouble with energy and motivation, acquires a very lazy and an unmotivated player past his prime?

Just a giant lol.

Just relax. If he isn't playing hard he'll sit in the press box. Nbd

I saw this after I posted that- I was blown away! Rene Bourque like stats. It would be nice if he went on a good run for us here.

Then they have to decide if the two or three best ones are worth more to the team now or later. It would really depend on the return. I'd give up one of the better ones for a guy like Hoffman but probably not for Kane.

Yeah, all of that was eight or nine years ago. Now he's basically a 20-30 point player.

It doesn't matter, a completely useless pick up.

Rene Bourque is probably the best comparable I can think of.
