Hope some of the guys can find some energy in the 3rd. A few guys who I really forget are even dressed tonight. Everyone needs to show up.

If our fourth line was as solid as our third D pairing we'd be set.

Put Gaudreau with Tkachuk. Ferland and Monahan aren’t skating

He has been doing it all game, was playing so well over the past 10 games or so and back to being absolutely dreadful again tonight. Move Kulak up and staple his ass to the bench please.

Brodie again. How many ####ing times does he have to do it.
This performance so far from us is unacceptable

Gio, Hamilton, Tkachuk, Hathaway, Lazar, Smith, and maybe Backlund.
These are the players who decided to put in an effort tonight.
I'll give some credit to Kulak and Stone in the offensive zone, but it's been a bit rough in their own zone tonight.

Yeah if I'm GG I put Gaudreau on that second line in the third. His linemates aren't exactly bringing their A games tonight.

Fourth line has been fine tonight. What’s more concerning is how 2/3 of our top line has been invisible.

Sabres seem to be getting the higher quality shots while the Flames fling rubbish towards Johnson.
Pretty standard crap performance by the Flames - but hey, it’s Buffalo. Win the 3rd period, and all is right in the world. Go get it done!
(Also...I want Hoffman. Having to rely on Johnny to generate all the offence is not a good strategy)

Meh. He's still being a little too passive.
Also, he's being a little lazy on the backchecking/defensive zone play. He can be better.

Flames have had plenty of good scoring chances...they just need to bury them

I stand corrected about starting Smith we'd be trailing if it wasn't for some great saves.

I'd say the Flames were the better team in that period, but only by a very slim margin. They still look a little sloppy, and it's clear that this isn't the same team that we saw before the break. They just look really out of sorts tonight.
Flames better show up with a big 3rd if they want to get out of this game with a W. Can't afford to piss away points against a bottom feeder like the Sabres, especially when the other teams around us keep winning.
Johnson and Smith are both having great games. It's probably gonna take a lucky bounce off someone's arse to win this one.

Sorry but you are crazy IMO...he has been the Flames best forward and is out there by himself tonight

Janko with some bad giveaways, Brodie with some bad give aways. Half the team floating... If the team dont pull thier heads out of thier asses they are going to lose a.game which was pretty much an automatic win.

Tkachuk has been the best forward, by a country mile too.
Gaudreau is fine, but he's not bearing down very much. Like I said, he's being passive, and when he's more assertive, the chances become wide open and guys bury them.
