What is with the constant slap shots off the boards as our break out? It's either icing or tipped in without a fore check. Awful.

Well, it seems like the Flames are going to sleepwalk through October again. Going to have to work extra hard from here on out in order to not be a wild card team in the playoffs. Pathetic display from the team in red.

I don't know man. If the Flames don't start generating some sustained offensive zone pressure it is going to make watching the games extremely difficult. They haven't done anything exciting yet this season.
I think it is time to pull Smith and see if a goalie change generates anything from these players. But we've seen this many times last year and the Flames under Gulutzan just can't bounce back after getting down in a game especially early in the game.
Good thing SNL starts soon.

Seriously can the Backlund line play like 30+ minutes like the top defencemen sometimes do? That's the only forward line that never disappoints me.
