Even if he's not 100% and you rest him during the game, how could you not start him? The opportunity to announce his name as one of the roster players for this year is not something to be passed up!

"You see, this is posture I use to protect puck. I just bend down forward, like this. To do this also, you must also have massive butt like me. Never skip leg day, yes? Then you have massive ass also."

It's like having the Yoda of hockey on this team now:
Bennett: "I can't... McDavid's too fast."
Jagr: "Speed matters not... judge me by speed do you? And where you should not. For my ally is my butt... and a powerful ally it is. Leg day creates it... makes it grow."

Seeing Jagr come in and immediately step up as a mentor is really exciting.
Even if he doesn't end up contributing, points-wise, as much as we hope, the leadership and coaching is worth his cost.

Off-topic... but I am really bothered by practices that look like the one in this video. The entire team is just standing there all relaxed and having a good time, while one player shoots the puck. Naturally, you'd wanna see them guys huffin' and puffin' and gasping for air after a hard skate. Especially, after a sub-par performance in Edmonton.
Is there a way to see a full-practice video somewhere?

Should Gluegun be banishing players to the Sarlac pit while he's at it?

I certainly get that from a minor hockey coaching standpoint, for sure. You only get the rink for an hour twice a week so never have kids standing around.
But they have an agenda and work it out. A zamboni driver doesn't kick them off.
I'm sure the Flames management are quickly realizing that Jagr will offer just as much off the ice - in the room and during practices etc. - as he does during actual games.
Another thing I'm wondering if Jagr will do is give the coach feedback that the coach would consider. As an example, maybe feedback that Brodie needs to shoot more on the PP or he may want to consider swapping him with a shooter.
