I think he would be a great role model for Jankowski too. If Jankowski could learn to use his body like Jagr does, he could become a very special player.

Hasn't he already played for Gulutzan? Hopefully that, and his experience and intelligence will mean he can drop right in.

If that happens, I will buy a jersey with Treliving on my back...

Over the moon. Didn't think I wanted Jagr earlier in the summer, but I'm freaking pumped now.

We will be freaking out when he salutes the crowd after a his first goal at the dome... the crowd will lose their minds if it's at the home opener.

Would Jagr slow down Bennett? Maybe they should try Monahan with Jagr and Versteeg, and move Bennett up with Gaudreau and Ferland.

I agree with this and give them as many offensive starts as possible. Jagr can still control the offensive zone like a boss.

I don't think Jagr will slow him down... never seemed like Jagr slowed down Barkov. I think Jagr will help bennett have more time in the offensive zone... too many times last year it was into the zone and lost possession on Bennett's line. Jagr is still one of the best cycle players in the league. That's a huge plus for bennett.

Jagr won't slow down Bennett, that's just absurd.

Jagr will get time on the first line, as well as PP time. Over the course of the season I am willing to bet that Jagr out paces Ferly and becomes the staple on the first line.

Was hoping Treliving would sign Iginla. Can't always get what we want. ,Jagr would have to do!

P.S> I just really, really, really hope that Iggy would not sign with Oilers...

Looks like St. Louis made a hard push after Fabbri went down. Per the TSN article:

Quote:
Jagr also turned down a contract offer from the St. Louis Blues, general manager Doug Armstrong confirmed to LeBrun.

Armstrong, assistant GM Martin Brodeur and head coach Mike Yeo all spoke with Jagr over the weekend prior to making the offer, but were informed that the 45-year-old had chosen to go in another direction
Quote:
Pierre LeBrun@PierreVLeBrun
Armstrong first reached out to Jagr's agent Petr Svoboda last week after Fabbri went down... the Blues GM got word Jagr went another route

My buddy just said that "Jagr is a bum"

I told him I agreed but it was the bum of a 22 year old yoga instructor.
