I know you're kidding, but the Blues have less cap room then the Flames, just signed Scottie Upshall and Steen is coming back soon. I don't think they're serious. It's pretty much the Flames or bust at this point, I'm guessing.
If they could take Brouwer back with some salary retained I'd be ok with that though!

Hmmm, interesting news to wake up to.... My biggest question mark after the preseason was whether the flames had enough speed up front.
This definitely doesn't help, but there is no denying his skill which could definitely boost the depth and, ideally, the pp.
I really thought flames would have used the cap space at the trade deadline.
