Pretty hard to argue with that. Committee has pretty much stated now who the 4 playoff teams will be as long as they win this weekend. They've left the door open for Alabama if someone ahead of them stumbles. It's pretty hard to see any scenario where anyone lower than Miami can climb back into it.

OSU, TCU, Georgia and Miami winning would be fun.

Knocks out Clemson, knocks out Auburn, knocks out Wisconsin, knocks out OU.

Final 4 of Georgia, Bama, Miami and TCU, in that order?

Which would be bad I think because then Alabama breezes to the national Championship IMO. But I don't think TCU jumps all 4.

I think all of the top 4 will win their championship games and will play for the NC.

I will be happy when Saben and the tide miss out.

yeah buckeyes being ahead of TCU now probably means they'd stay ahead of TCU if they each win their respective cc's.

I’m no Stanford fan but that kid wasn’t down on that 4th down try when the whistle blew.

This Oklahoma offense is one of the best offenses that College Football has seen in some time. The defense seems to be playing better. They'd my pick right now to win the National Championship.

Looks like Alabama is stuck praying for a Wisconsin loss. Oklahoma, Georgia, and the eventual 1 loss ACC champ have their tickets punched. Ohio State looks to be playing for the Rose Bowl no matter what. Even if they beat Wisconsin by 30 can anyone see the committee putting them in ahead of one loss Alabama?

I think they should put Ohio State in and they might. A conference championship should be meaningful. Every team in the FBS has a chance to win their conference, and Alabama didn't. Alabama's schedule is not looking very good without any very impressive wins, and their loss is looking a lot worse after this game.

That same logic should have kept non conference champion ohio state out last year. No I think it's either Wisconsin or Alabama with that final spot.

Edit: I should say I think Wisconsin is going to win and make this all irrelevant anyway.

They had a better schedule, and they weren't the second team from their conference in.

If Alabama gets in if Ohio State wins the Big Ten Championship the whole thing is a joke. Their strength of schedule is a joke. Nothing like beating powerhouses Mercer and Colorado State.

oh yeah because Ohio state didn't have any puffball opponents on their schedule.

Alabama hasn't beaten anyone of note this year. It's pretty tough to justify that their wins are good enough to justify getting in without a conference championship. It's also pretty tough to justify that the SEC is strong enough this year to put in 2 teams.

Ohio State has one impressive win, Penn State. The rest of their schedule is on par or easier than Bama's.

Winning their conference might be enough to get them in.

But none of that has anything to do with drakes post or my response.

People think Bama should make playoff when their best win was a 3 loss LSU. LSU lost at home to Troy. 'll shut up now and not say anymore.

EDIT: LSU also beat Auburn.

The creampuffs matter when their SEC slate is weak and the conference in general is probably not the best in the nation.

Michigan State is probably also better than anything Alabama can brag about. Michigan Sate, Penn State, and Wisconsin are probably 3 better teams than anyone Alabama has beat. Sure, it's not Alabama's fault Florida State sucked this year, but that kind of stuff hurts other teams every year too.

Miami looking like they’re not quite ready for prime time with Clemson rolling about to go up 21-0
