Unfortunate play and injury, that was completely unintentional, but I could careless to be honest. The Ducks deserve everything that comes there way. The amount of times that D-bag Kesler has two handed Johnny, karma is a real b**** sometimes. I wish it was Kesler on the receiving end of that play and not Fowler. Whether it's classless, over the top or inappropriate, I just don't give a s***.

Points. Unlikely. We are looking at Chicago. We match up way better against chi. Still Massive underdog to them, but more of a chance than Anaheim. We can't beat them right now in a best of 7. Just a fact. We can't beat them when they have 2 d men out. 7 game series? No bueno.

Chicago I could see being doable if they play a physical game.

Gaudreau had more hits than Brouwer.

Josh Manson gives Gio credit

Quote:
Manson actually credited Giordano for taking him on.

“One of our guys had to do something,” Manson said. “Hockey’s a fast game and things happen, but hats off to him. You got to respect the class he had signing [that] up for himself like that.”
Bieksa being Bieksa.

Bieksa said he didn’t get a good live view at the play but said, “It didn’t look clean. It didn’t sound clean.

Effing tool even threw a punch against Frolik even when Frolik didn't have anytime to defend himself. Luckily he missed like how the refs missed it too. Such knobs... The refs and Kesler.

Very difficult game to watch.

The officiating was absolutely terrible.

Anaheim play down and dirty and we played right into their hand. Somebody had said the PGT to stick to our game. First period was that. Then we got sucked in and went deeper and deeper.

This was another LA off the rails disaster, which believe me I want to indulge in myself. My anger was so great at then end of this game. At the end of the day, you have to outthink your opponent, outsmart him and never get angry.

Also, we should have scored on the 5-3 that was discombobulated. But the guys were blinded by their anger.

Playing in Anaheim is one of the most frustrating things in the world and it certainly gets my blood boiling. I could never cheer for an injury and I genuinely hope Fowler has a speedy recovery, but it would make me pretty happy if in the next couple of years after they lose their big stars, the Ducks are forced to relocate.

Either way, he's a loser. I honestly don't see what he brings to the table that Hathaway doesn't.
I don't think he's too dumb about this, but rather, he's just not good enough that he should be a full time NHLer. The effort is there for the most part with Bouma, the NHL hockey talent just isn't really at all.

I also think he'll be out of the NHL after that 2.2 mil contract expires.

I'm not. If his hand is still an issue, he should be sat.

Monahan also has dropped off the face of the earth the past two games. Gaudreau can't do everything himself for that line. Wish he would show up more in key games.

And he had a clean rebound with that open net gift right in front and that was the weakest tap in attempt at a rebound I have possibly ever seen. Weaksauce from the 'moneyhands'.

Bennett has been great on the other hand. 3rd line was more effective with the puck than the 1st line but sadly no one on that line has much finishing ability 5 on 5 lately and Bennett has a big baboon hanging off his back when it comes to goal scoring.

It's very hard for me to understand how someone can act the way Kesler does. He consistently goes after guys he knows won't fight back (Monahan, Frolik), but backs down and will literally turtle and run away from other guys like Ferland and Engelland.

There's being a pest but there's also having to live through the reputation of being a coward.

Thick skin that guy has...

I'm so done with Brouwer. He was signed to bring some size and toughness to this team and he has been an absolute no show when the team needs him most.

The guy has been invisible against the Oilers and the DUcks, the two teams that have a bunch of goons and have basically pushed the Flames around all year long.

With all that went on in this game, the only time you noticed Brouwer was at the end of the game when Bieksa came looking for trouble and all Brouwer wanted to do was play peacemaker.

When I think of all the tough guys the Flames have had who would stick up for their teammates and the logo like Iggy, Roberts, Hunter, Fleury, Lanny, it just makes me sick seeing Brouwer out there with the Flaming C on. He's an embarrasement to that uniform.

He's not scoring, he's not winning board battles, he's not doing anything out there.

At this point, Flames are better off calling up Bollig to replace him.

I kind of wanted to see Monahan drop his gloves with Kesler. I know Monny is not a fighter, but he's giving me a Henrik Sedin vibe. At some point he needs to stand up for himself and fight. Kesler isn't that great a fighter, he can be beat, I mean he got one punched by Max Domi for crying out loud.

Drop the gloves and take your lumps and stand up for yourself and the team.

On another note, Bieksa was trying to get Bennett to drop the gloves all night. Probably not a good idea for Bennett to do that, but I think Bennett could probably win a fight versus Kesler.

And it is a disgrace that he has an "A" on his Flaming C uniform.
