I would be more open to a Ho Sang type off ice issue than I would a Kane issue.

I think kane's bravado, posting pictures using stacks of money as a phone, etc would run very thin, very fast in Calgary - especially with the economy being what it is.

Notwithstanding that public support for a new building will be highest with a good team, public sentiment could be cratered quickly by a guy who seems entitled to huge sums and then has a great time tossing it people's faces afterwards.

Yes I had a feeling (albiet a long shot hope) the Flames made a big push for Mrazek and one of Tatar or Nyquist.

Would cost the Flames a ton (1st, Gillies, top D prospect, maybe more) but could answer the goalie long term and get a fit with the top 6
