A 6 point lead over the Kings and they have one game in hand and we have two more games against them.

A 10 point lead over the Jets who are pretty much done.

4 points behind Edmonton.

Things are looking positive.

Well ####, that's pure nightmare fuel. Those eyes, or lack thereof, are right out of Jeepers Creepers.

For Lent, I'm giving up doubting this team.

3 more against them. We could basically bury them or close to with a sweep of those 3 games. Can't wait for the finally 6 games this year, it's gonna be a battle with the pacific coast coming in before we finish out there.

Word is their players are unaware and McLellan thought it best not to inform them.

I would have loved it if that was a cutout of Freddie.

That was one Hell of a game to be at. From the fans being forced to give it to the refs due to their horrible non calls to Gio and Ferland big hits.
Ferland is great on the first line.
Gaudreau was buzzing around all night.
Elliott made a number of key stops in traffic. He has been playing like the 2015 STL Elliott. Real nice to see.
Hamilton was so calm under pressure with Kings forwards always being a threat. He just calmly gains control and plays the puck out or lead the rush. Impressive!

Oilers fans talking about horseshoes and overtime points. That is ripe.
You should see them on Sportsnet articles after Flames wins. Every win is a fluke and the other team did something to hand them the win like Tampa not playing Bishop. It's pretty funny.

How is that different from the "Edmonton Is No Good" thread on here?

Haha your welcome . Love the avatar btw.

Thought all 4 lines played well tonight. Bart was almost like the invisible man ,unnoticeable in good way.

Best laugh of the night : tuned into Chia saying the Oilers are "deep" on D

Seeing how the Flames are handling bigger grinding teams and beating them at their own game, which has been the Flames' kryptonite to this point...

My first attendance in quite a while. Some thoughts:

-The crowd was quiet watching the game go back and forth, there were not a lot of moments that may get you off your seat. Then that Gio hit on Brown was so loud. It seemed loud in part because the crowd had been so quiet, and it reverberated though the dome and really woke everyone up. Suddenly the crowd got into the game by cheering not just watching.
-Then there were two tv timeouts within minutes. It sapped the energy from the crowd somewhat.
-Gaudreau really turned it on at times.
-I was surprised how poised Elliot looked all game, it was nice to see. He looked in great form, made some great saves.
-Two of the missed calls against LA were perplexing, and that also sparked the crowd.
-Get rid of those damn red spotlights.

If Oiler fans are complaining about the lack of 3-on-3 in the playoffs, maybe someone should remind them THERE IS NO LOSER POINT in the playoffs either. Edmonton has 8 OT/SO losses, so those would have been straight-out playoff OT losses.

Thought it was a pretty cool moment (and I guess, may have ultimately saved the game) when that puck deflected off of Gio at the end and got in behind Elliott...as soon as Gio spotted it, before Elliott could move and possibly knock it in, Gio had the calmness and presence of mind to give him the " D o n ' t m o v e . . . " hand motion. No panic - beautiful!
