Wow, that's some bush-league stuff to give DeAngelo a game misconduct for literally nothing.
Awful call. That's the ego of the linesman getting in the way of the game.

Dude. You can't try and strong arm an official off of you. Sure a shrug or a yank, but a double handed slap/shove is gonna get "abuse of officials" 90% of the time.

Yes you can, but only if you're a veteran. It happens all the time. It was just a message sent to a rookie, nothing more. Tell me that someone like Sidney Crosby gets called for that.
Give him a 2 minute minor for unsportsmanlike, but a game misconduct is far too much.

Gaudreau hasn't really been moving his feet. He's much more effective on the rush when he is skating and changing up his speed.
