I'm surprised the bomb-sniffing dog didn't bite the Flames on the ceremonial face off.

that is pretty rough though...Sens was the only one I felt somewhat confident about
I feel uneasy about every team if we play like this. We don't look like an NHL level squad.

Crazy thing is (may have already been pointed out), the Flames are just 2 games back of 2nd in the Pacific. Bless this crappy division.

I'll admit I only saw the first two periods, but I didn't think the flames looked too bad?
Would have liked to see a few more 'dangerous' scoring chances but I think they kept the pressure up, goaltending was alright. PP was bad still but overall after watching the game, I'm not sure why everyone is up on the ledge?

So does the streak include only reg season games? They won once in like 2006 playoffs I think.

It's been so many losses I can't keep track anymore.

They're also 3 points out of last and every team below them has 2-3 games at hand and most of the teams above them have 2 games at hand too.

Anyways, I watched London Has Fallen instead last night, it was okay at best. Happy with my choice though.

That guy seems to bring trouble to every job he gets. Whose going to hire him? Whats next, "Burger King Has Fallen"?

It has become so natural to lose there that I am not surprised by it anymore. Sickening

Didn't Barry Melrose only last like 15 games in Tampa Bay?

This is regular season consecutive losses.

Regular season loss streak began 4/4/04 until now.
Last reg season win in Anaheim was Jan 19, 2004 5-1

Those stats are staggering. But you are mistaken about 2015 playoffs. Their only win that series was at the Dome.

These last two loses would not be as hard to handle if the Flames didn't drop a handful of easy games at the beginning of the season.

I kinda figured the Flames would miss the playoffs, I was just hoping it would happen in a more dramatic fashion.

Don't worry, I am sure they will put up a heroic come from behind streak only to end up falling short.

It's the Hartley hockey flames fans have been pining for!

If only they could replicate the game they played in St Louis over a season. Oh why must they be human and show inconsistency..

Easy games? Canes and Vancouver

Edmonton is not an easy out right now

I know its hard to call teams top 10 etc so early but based on league point standings as of today..

The Flames are
3-6-0 vs top 10 teams
2-1-0 vs mid 10 teams
0-1-1 vs bot 10 teams

Playing 3 games under vs the top of the league, .500 hockey vs the rest. Not the best but not totally unexpected for a rebuilding team with a new coach.

I used to think the safest lead in hockey was the "3 games to 0" in a best of 7 playoff series. Before PHI over BOS (2010) and LAK over SJ (2014), that record had stood for 35 years, NYI over PIT (1975).

Now, I'd put ANA over CGY at the Honda Center as the surest thing to a guaranteed win.

Sad

I don't think anyone thinks they are playing anywhere close to good enough...just saying

St. Louis x2, Chicago x2, LA, Caps, NYR, Dallas, Anaheim, SJ

Those are all really good teams I don't care about the standings ATM

Flying Calgary-Chicago and then back to SJ is also a joke

All that being said they lost to Vancouver and Carolina...don't get me wrong its certainly not all on the schedule maker
