Wow, people drink a lot on here! (not to judge, just surprised)

I drink about 2 times a week with about 2-4 drinks each time. Add on 1-2 times a month where I drink heavily and get drunk.
That used to be 1-2 times a week, but just can't do that anymore. Having to work weekends actually helps avoid the weekend binging that most of my friends tend to do.

33. I don't drink and haven't since I was in my 20s. I don't really like the taste of alcohol and would rather drink a can of pop.

I certainly have lightened my alchohol consumption over the years. Part of it is age where I really can no longer have that self inflicted slow and lethargic couch day with two young kids. I'm also flat broke trying to raise these kids. So rather than buy a case of beer or whatever...it gets spent on swimming lessons and school fees. Looking back all that money I spent on liquour would come in handy now.

Funny, sounds like law enforcement should hire my dad. When I was in my late teens / very early 20s, he used to bust me all the time, and vodka / 7-Up was usually what I would drink.

Agreed. I also want to say barely isn't the same as "cannot", which is what some people who drink vodka believe. It's more funny than anything IMO.

I also agree with the comment that it's a drink that you drink to not advertise you drink. But I've also met some people who drink more vodka because they think no one will notice if they do. Sure, I can't smell someone drinking vodka from 20 feet away, but the completely sloshed individuals aren't hard to notice.

But it is definitely not scentless. More difficult to detect? Absolutely.

I personally can't handle vodka due to a very weird physical reaction that gives me horrible stomachaches. If I consume more than 2-3 shots of vodka, I also get what looks like hives and my body gets super itchy. It is the only alcohol that does this. No other spirit does this to me even after something like 10+ shots of it.

mid 30s. Used to drink 15+ beers on the weekends all the time to the point of blacking out all the time. Figured me or my friends didn't drink enough/it wasn't a good night if you could remember it. Then would have a killer hangover Saturday morning/day, but usually did it again Saturday night. 3 years ago, I've finally realised that if I keep my boozing down to ~8-10 beers, I remember things, have more fun and don't feel like a bag of $*!+ the next day.

I don't drink as much anymore. I used to have a 6 pack on the weekends in my 20's, and then more in my early 30's, but now I have maybe 4 beer over a week, but when I get together with some friends, a few times a year, we get a bit ridiculous...
