Textcritic: yeah, Parsons is there. He's on Team 4.

Gillies was the best of the goalies and Parsons was here. More of an athletic style goalie.

I took a bunch of video. I'll upload them later today. Still waiting for the last media availability and then to record a bit and then I'll head home and start.

let me know if there is anyone that you want more detail on. Just writing a brief snippet of each guy because it's been a bit crazy today.

What did Carroll look like? What about Hunter Smith? Kanzig?

How were the big stay at home guys - Ollas-Mattsson, Hickey, Kanzig, Falkovsky, and Bruce looking on breakout-type drills?

How did Mitch Mattson look? Id have to think this camp is a good 2 or 3 levels above where he played most of his games last season.

Did Fox look like he had first round level skills in a smaller body, as he's been described.

Treliving also said he’d “be shocked” if both Andrew Mangiapane and Rasmus Andersson weren’t playing pro hockey next season. #Flames

Pretty excited to be able to go see the carnage on Thursday. I'd go tomorrow but orientation.

Fox article:

http://calgaryherald.com/sports/hock...flames-harvard

Quote:
The scouting reports — Cummins’ included — indicates that while he’s on the small-ish side, he makes up for it with his hockey sense and smarts.

An invaluable set of assets, according to Conroy.

“You really appreciate it, especially as a forward,” he said. “When you’re in motion and guys hit you with a pass … you think they’re seeing you, but they’re seeing beyond you. If they pass it to you, you know you’re not going to get hit. You know you’re going to be OK. You think everyone can do it … but the little things he does, the things maybe not everyone would notice. As a centre, I would love playing with him because if you’re open, you know he’s going to hit you with a puck.

“That’s how quick his brain works.”

Like reading about Ollas-Mattsson being big and physical and wanting to be noticed for that.

Like to know from Caged Great how he looked or if he stood out to anyone else.

Ollas-Mattsson looked decent. I think his balance has improved - he knocked down Kanzig while battling with him in a drill, his passes are very accurate and crisp.

That' was my observation at WJC too.

Interesting to see that Ollas-Mattsson took Harrison down with a big hit. From what I remember, a couple of years ago, Harrison was the one hitting everything that moved at this camp.

One thing with AOM, I don't think he's played since he broke his leg 7 months ago.

Probably rusty.
