for anyone unhappy with the return, just remember we got Russell for a 5th rounder less than 3 years ago.

Wont believe anyone else in the central can beat Chicago until I see it.
Still happy with a 2nd rounder

Gonna be tough to knock off Chicago to get to conference finals, but I'll still take the chance! Good job BT.

Russell also needs to play at least half the Stars games.

At least I have a team to cheer for this year since Dallas is in no way a rival.

So four picks in the first two rounds in this years draft.

Either 1 and 3
or 2 and 2

Does Dallas have two 1st round picks per chance? If they make conf finals it will be 28/29th?

Just reading the details on Jokipakka. Did we just pick up Kari Eloranta v2?

Hang on, he's been excellent since he got brought into the line up. Pretty sure Darren Haynes mentioned something about him not being on the ice for a single goal against. Would be ridiculously unfair to drop him based on his showing with us in these last half a dozen games.

Sounds like a centre we drafted recently
Like the Jyrk ,big ,sound defensively, young D-man

I'll miss Russel (unlike many here) good player great teammate, but that return on a investment of a 5th (?) hahahaha !

Wizardry I tell ya

So can Jokipakka be our left handed #4 to pair with Hamilton?

I wonder how Pakki's mobility is? It says on hockey futures that he is a defence first defender but victim to crease crashers on occasion. I think we are still lacking some much needed size and physical presence on our back end. I wonder if Wotherspoon can be one of those guys.
