It looks like Wedge will also be a character in season 3 of Rebels. In the preview clip we see a T-Fighter pilot with the call sign Wedge.

That scene with Vader in the end, I literally got chills. We finally saw the ruthless completely corrupted Anakin Skywalker in Rebels. I hope we completely see the Darth Vader that we thought we'd see at the end of the ROTS. A man so completely lost to the dark side. A Dark Spectre devoid of mercy and still young enough to be over whelmingly positive.

Why do I have a feeling that the only way that this movie ends is with most of the hero's dead and the planet the death star is orbiting in pieces.

I just remember that this is coming out in December and I'm going to be out of NA.

No IMAX for me But it should at least last a month in the theatres I assume.

I'm way more pumped for this than part 7

Okay. Does everything Star Wars now need to some involve Darth Vader in some way, shape, or form?

Considering the time frame and subject of this movie, it makes perfect sense for Vader to be in it.

I assume that this movie will end shortly before Episode IV begins. Episode IV begins with Vader chasing after the stolen Death Star plans. It seems logical that this movie will end with Vader beginning the pursuit of the stolen plans.

I'd really love to see the movie end with Vader on the bridge of the Devastator looking out the view screen at the Tantive IV and turning to antwo Imperial Officers, and snarling "Commander I want that ship, General I want prisoners"

I understand this is logically when Vader would be out and about. I guess it is more about how everything has featured Vader/Anakin in some way. It's as if they are contractually obligated to have him in everything.

I think that the premise of the entire series is the rise, fall and redemption of Anakin/Vader.

It makes sense that he's in all the movies.

I really like what they've done with the music in these trailers.

I think in the period between the Phantom Menace and Return of the Jedi you almost have to have a Vader presence in it.

Realistically the Star Wars story leading up the The Force Awakens is the story of Anakin Skywalker.

To me anyways, Luke, Leia, Han, are secondary characters in the GFFA. C3PO and R2D2 are really the narrators of the story and the pinions between the PT, Clone Wars, Rebels and the OT.

This is all about the Rise and fall of Anakin Skywalker, and now the Rise and redemption of Vader.

We've seen the Rise and Fall, to some extent we've seen the rise of Vader in Rebels as he's the incredibly powerful and angry non conflicted Vader that was hinted at in ANH, so we really have to see what he's up to in terms of the period between the end of the Jedi and the height of the empires power (pre ROTJ).

The secondary story to me is Palpatines ascension and the rise of the Empire and the fall of the empire.

Another interesting thought to me is that we see Vader in ANH

When you look at its armor its a little more matte dull, it looks a little frayed and its certainly bulky

In Empire it looks different

Its shinier, its a more streamline and I think it looks lighter and maybe a bit more flexible.

So what if Vader in ANH comes directly from the events of Rogue 1. Lets be honest, its probably the first real combat that Vader has seem in a long time. The Jedi are long dead, he's probably more of an Admiral type then anything else. So while he's incredibly powerful and he kicks the crap out of everybody when he does arrive he takes some damage, and when he arrives on Tantive IV in ANH you can see that he's been in a battle.

After the events of that maybe he redesigns of upgrades his suit and makes it lighter and it just looks newer.

I'm still convinced in my mind that this

Is someone reporting to Vader in a medical tube without his armor

From what I have heard, Rogue One will take us to within 10 minutes of the beginning of ANH.

I just want to see that last scene with Imperial officers nervously on the bridge watching Vader glower out the window at the Tantive IV as if he could reach out and crush it himself

Captain Piett - "My Lord, we can confirm that we traced the transmissions to this ship"

Vader - "I want that ship commander"

Captain Piett - "My Lord that ship has diplomatic markings from Alderaan we can't attack it without approval from the Emperor himself"

Vader - "I speak for the Emperor Captain, prepare to fire on the engines and ready the tractor beam"

Vader swings around to the General standing next to Piet

Vader - "General prepare your men to assualt that ship, I want prisoners"

The General nods nervously and swallows he nods at Piett and makes a hasty exit. Vader turns to the window as Piett nervously bows and turns to a collection of officers to issue orders

Vader - "This farce ends now"

Piett - "Fire control prepare to open fire, target the reactors and engines only. Tractor control ready the dorsal beams"

We zoom out and see the Tantive IV fleeing for its life, the huge Star Destroyer slowly chases after it descending over the screen like the first scene in a new hope.

The first blaster bold reaches out from the Devastator and we go to credits.
