Every rebound off of Blackwood goes on a Finn's stick. He is looking incredibly shaky out there

Not sure who is more useless: Dave Lowry the former NHL player, or Dave Lowry the coach.

Definitely the coach. Lowry the player was a pretty useful player in his time.

What the hell is wrong with Canadian goaltending? It's been on a downwards spiral for ten years now. I can't remember the last time a goalie stepped up for us at the junior level since Price. We get average or below average goaltending every year now. It's our Achilles heel.

I haven't seen as bad goaltending as Vehvilainen put up in years for the Finns

Something tells me you're very young. Pretty dumb thing to say. Lorry was a very useful player.

Put Mase on the case. That 3rd goal was weak

I think the biggest story here is how useless the Canadian's best players have been.

McKenzie even surprised Lowry didn't pull Blackwood after the 3rd goal.

It's kind of interesting how Canada is lagging behind the US and Europe in regards to developing top goaltenders. When you consider the sheer amount of Canadian kids it's hard to put a finger on why Canada is no longer a goaltending factory.

Mmmm, there's been two or three since Price that have been really good.

I want to say Steve Mason, Justin Pogge, Dustin Tokarski, Jake Allen stood out for Canada during this Tournament.

Mason, Allen and Tokarski have netted positive results in the NHL.

kids need to get control of their emotions and re focus. FRICK
momentum shift after momentum shift. It would be a great game to watch as a neutral observer but as a Canadian fan its frustrating as hell. It would almost be better if they were simply outmatched and could muster any kind of attack, but knowing they should be better and definitely have the potential and watching them lose their sh1t is making me pull my hair out.

part of why this is the best tournament in the world I guess lol

If we lose this game it's Lowry who will have his head on the chopping block. He should have just pulled the goalie after the 3rd goal, at least that would have protected his own neck.

Haha, Saarelas comments on what turned the period:
"We started to play as a group and Canada started sh*tting their pants."

Reporter with a good two second awkward silence for extra comedic effect.

These are still kids after all which is why it's really important to have a good head coach in this tournament to keep the players emotions in check. That simply hasn't been the case for Canada this year.

Outside of Pogge, all were average. Allen cost us a medal of my memory serves me correct. Just because someone plays in the NHL doesn't mean they were great in this tournament.

Sucks that Denmark couldn't hold on for the win.

I didn't see the first two but the last couple goals were pretty weak.
