The biggest story line for me so far, and for the past couple of games, is that is looks like Gio is finally finding his form. Looks great tonight. If he can continue his play this team will be a lot closer to the playoffs than they will be the #1 draft pick. Awesome to see.

Was a great period, but we gave up a lot of quality chances that a few weeks ago would have found the net, making this game a much different story. Getting some very good goaltending right now.

Wow, great period. Again I feel the Flames are unlucky to not score more goals, so much pressure.
I have really liked Ferland's game tonight. Some smart hockey and some really nice plays. He peeled off to cover a pinching D man, you don't see that often. Heads up hockey.
