Flames best period of the series and they are still down by a goal. There's simply an air of inevitability that the Ducks are going to sweep the series. It's men against boys as that last Ducks goal proved with Getzlaf taking the puck off Brodie like he was a 150lb kid. Could have been 4-1 easily and it's just a matter of time until they pull away in this game.

We are simply not in the same class as the Ducks. We were lucky that we played the worst playoff team in the first round and its showing now.

I'm fine with losing at this stage, but not with the fact that they are going down without playing the game that got them here.

Energy in the building is so much lower than last series. Second Duck goal killed what there was.

Well you wrote this team off months ago from even making the playoffs, so this should all be gravy anyway.

Top line invisible yet again. Two terrible mistakes, two goals. Simple. They are beating themselves at the moment. You can't give that Ducks that much time and space. Flames look good so far, but boy oh boy get the puck out of the zone before that forecheck of theirs murders you.

Top line MIA.
Weak sauce goal by goalie.
Weak sauce give away by top D Man.
Both goals result of horrid defensive play.
That's pretty much crapping the bed.

Please Bob, split up Engelland/Brodie. It's been a tirefire pairing since its inception.

It is gravy. I'm not mad or anything as I'm just going to enjoy the last few games of the season. This series is just showing that there's still a lot of work to do and it's just not their time.

They are getting beaten so badly in large part because their best line all year has been horrible. I would be a lot more concerned, but I'm pretty sure Monahan has a real injury and I KNOW Hudler must.

Something. After watching the clip of Rousell/Garbutt making Getzlaf's life difficult, I'd hope for more from us. Looks like we are watching in awe as Perry and Getzlaf do whatever they want

Oh right, Bridie is among the untouchables. Sorry. Forget his brain farts cost in the same fashion 2 times in big games down the stretch. He's TJ, walks on water right? Now let's get back to figuring out how we can blame Enggelland for that goal.

Yea, a team full of young kids playing the top team in the Western Conference and there being a disparity. Real shocking stuff.

You know what they need? They need to just go out there and have fun.
They're too tight, over-thinking things, too scared to make plays. The Ducks are a great team, but you're not going to beat them by being timid. Go out there and play your game, go for broke.....you have nothing to lose. Just have some fun.

Aww c'mon, it's not that bad. Flames could just as easily be winning if Schlemko puts that puck in the net. Yea, our D has been pretty bad in this game, but it's still only 2-1. I still think we come away with a win tonight.

The only thing worse than seeing our young team out-classed by one of the best teams in the league is listening to toxic, garbage attitudes like this on here.
Once again, Brodie has been one of our best players in the playoffs, and is being leaned on to play close to half of each game. He's going to make mistakes.
Your hissing with disdain for him like he's costing us the season is just brutal.
Go outside and get some air.

Engelland makes Brodie way too easy to key in on the forecheck, he keeps Brodie pinned in the D-zone, O-zone pressure dies when it's in Engelland's vicinity, etc etc.
The pairing needs to be split up, it's bad for Brodie, and the quality of competition is bad for Engelland.
