What a win for the franchise. It was very important to prove to the fans that they could get past the 1st round where historically they struggled mightily.
Stajan, you're a keeper. I wanted to see you move during the season but I've seen the light.
I was so shocked Monahan passed that puck on the empty net, I didn't even cheer.

Well I hope you're enjoying this now, European fans. Well worth the disrupted sleep.
I always regretted going back to bed when we were 3-0 down against the Sharks all those years ago, and missing that amazing comeback. Swore it wouldn't happen again.
So, fast forward a few years, and it's 5am on a Sunday morning, and I'm actually crying pretty hard... this is the first Flames series win I've ever seen. Ever. Ever.
It's going to be an emotional week... just need Bournemouth to win 1 game from their last 2, get promoted to the Premier League, and my dream will be complete...

Our top line tonight was outstanding... 10 freaking points!!! Best game from them all series by a country mile! Hudler looked like a new player... Ferland is an absolute beast!!!
That poke-check by Ramo on Sedin late was such a clutch play.

At the beginning of the season, I would not have picked this to be only the second Flames team to advance past the first round in 25 years.
These guys should be so proud of themselves. Proud, but not satisfied yet. If they think they can beat Anaheim, I ain't gonna argue.
