I'm offended because your avatar is insensitive to the multitudes of people who involuntarily died from choking.
Better put Sedin Sisters back up

I have no clue where to post this but I love it:

I wouldn't say I'm jealous of Winnipegs fanbase but they have some serious fans that do things like this.

I really hate PJ stock as an analyst... I can tell you as a Canucks fan there are a lot of Canucks fans who put the flames in the same category of the 2009-10 Blackhawks.
Canucks are very lucky Gio is out. Just some stats to think about...
In 83 career regular season games vs. Calgary, Henrik Sedin has 13 goals and 60 assists for 73 points. The only team he has scored more against is the Edmonton Oilers (78 points in 81 career games)
In 79 career regular season games vs. Calgary, Daniel Sedin has 27 goals and 52 assists for 79 points. This is his highest point total vs. any team in the NHL.

Would it be safe to assume that Rogers hands this series to Ball and Hrudey? Please.

My buddy and I bought tickets to every game so that we could pick the one or two that work best. We will be selling the rest.
I'm kinda nervous with how easy it was to get them all though. O'well.
It's an investment I guess!
Anyone know how fast they'll post the schedule after Saturdays game?

They aren't the same players who put up the bulk of those points from 2005-2012. They are PP specialists now (albeit very good ones) who will struggle with the lack of PPs in the playoffs and with Calgary's insane discipline. This series is going to come down to whether or not Vancouver can shut down Calgary's top line, and if they can, if any of Calgary's 2nd-4th lines step up. If someone like Backlund can channel his inner John Druce, that will go a long way. This series will be decided by unlikely heroes (either team) or Monahudreau IMO.

You know, since 1989, whenever these two teams have met in the first round, good things happen to the winner. Here's hoping it repeats itself!

Since when are two guys who are 11th and 22nd in the NHL in ES points PP specialists?

Inexperience in the playoffs will hurt the Flames but will make a series out of it. Canucks in 6
Going to game 2 in Vancouver (or 4...whatever it works out to be) so should be fun. Can't wait to flip some cars!
GO FLAMES GO!!!

It'll be Hughson. He usually requests the Canucks if they're playing.
But I wouldn't fight Ball and Hrudey.
I wouldn't fight Shorthouse and Hrudey.
I want Garrett no where near a play-off series.

Best would be Ball & Hrudey
2nd Best would be Hughson & Simpson
Worst is Shorty and Garret, but only because Garrett brings down Shorty. Shorty alone is better than Hughson & Simpson duo.
Man Garrett sucks. I hope that's not offensive though.

That's evidence bro. Didn't you learn your lesson in 2011? LOL.
There were tons of idiots who got nabbed because they proudly posted their crimes on social media.

In the best case, we would get Calgary announcers in Calgary, and Vancouver announcers in Vancouver. But given how cheap Rogers is and how much they pander to the Vancouver market, we'll probably have to endure Shorthouse and Garrett for the entire season if we're really unlucky, or Hughson and Garrett if we're only moderately unlucky.

They were also peaking as our team was declining. So a lot of points is going to happen against a weak team you play a lot.
