Yes, the OT goal was divinely influenced, but the Flames were full marks for this win.

The first 10 or 15 minutes was some of the worst hockey they have played this year. But once they started skating, they were able to put a ton of pressure on the Boston D with the fore-check.

And that started to tilt the ice the other way and generate chances. For a while, all of the potential rebounds were bouncing over sticks, or Rask was making great saves, but they steadily took over.

By about halfway through the 2nd, I was absolutely confident they were going to get the W.

And the amount of garbage that the Bruins were getting away with behind the play was atrocious - some pretty horrible reffing.

But they persevered and fully deserved the win.

And the assist to Montador on the game winner was nice too!

Not sure if it has been posted:

Hudler: 100%
Monahan: 52%
Backlund: 52%
Jooris: 50%
Stajan: 50%

Those face-off stats are a far cry from where they used to be...

It is pretty fun to go and read HF boards these days, I love that other fans hate us.

I love this team!

I don't believe for 1 second that we are the Colorado team from last year and this is all luck.

If the teams think it is tough to play us this year, next year will be even tougher.

The OT winner was a fluke but I'll take it! The rest was created luck, if you can even call it that.

We're Boston's goals tonight lucky?

I have to give credit to Bruins fans at the 'Dome, they were alright and didnt do anything crazy or stupid.

What a game though. I was chatting with a Bruins fan while buying beer and he was ecstatic, up 3-0 so they wouldnt lose their 4th straight and I told him that the Flames had them right where they wanted them.

Lo and behold.

It aint over till its over.

Just want to highlight the play Jooris made on that breakaway -- no penalty shot, no penalty, not even a shot on goal. Picked him clean!

It's plays like that which make the difference between a 4-3 win and a 5-2 loss...

Off Marchand's stick, off Rask's glove, off the top of the back crossbar, and off Rask's back.

... Just like Brodie drew it up.

I think of the puck in OT as the one ring, and the opposition goal as Sauron. Somehow, that puck is finding a way to its master.

Fun game tonight Flames fans. After that dive by Pasternak I was glad to see Hudler tie it up. NOW MAKE THE G.D. PLAYOFFS!

This season is really starting to feel like 03-04 after the Kipper trade, hype building up, people getting really excited, I love it, as that was a special season
