Flames haven't looked great. Would really like to see some consistent offensive pressure.

Hartley certainly doesn't hate him. I think the coach appreciates what he brings.
Whatever happens, it's kind of nice to see a goalie that plays similar to Kipper out there after Hiller and Rämö.

That's why it was so great to see Backlund on that breakaway with him in the Detroit game. It was Byron's strength to start the rush, and Backlund had the finish.

At least he's getting breakaways lol. I know what you mean though, I totally wish he could bury those.

Agreed- part of the Flames' problem is that there has been no consistent goalie in years, including Kipper his last couple years.

Tough to do when we never have the puck.

I think he reminds people of Kipper so they want to like him even more.

If Bollig had somehow scored that, it would have been incredible. 3 volley passes in a row batted out of mid-air.

Seems like the defense are no where to be seen in the offensive zone. There's never the pass back as an option

I think its a product of Stajan. He's shown he could pretty much play with all types of players.

That commercial is funny with the hats. The most asked question I get by my American friends and family- 'What do they do with all the hats after a hat trick? Does the player sign them and give them back?' lol
