Yeah, the PP's have been huge to engage the team. Keith should have had a penalty too for his high shot, but I'll take this.

Give Hartley the jack adams just for what he has done with Wideman.

“@SUNRandySportak: Hawks went eight games without giving up a powerplay goal before tonight. First ones since Oct. 30.”

Pretty good period once the Flames started skating.

Virtanen and Hitmen seems weird. I think they should trade him for Smith.

We got absolutely dominated at even strength worth the exception of three breakouts. Hardly touched the puck for the first few minutes, then showed the Hawks what a powerplay looks like. Love it. Would love it more though if they could keep up 5v5

Sven with his best period of the year.... really looks engaged and is flying on the back check.
Ferland looks as if he didnt miss a game. He is the definition of a Burke player.
I like our chances if we keep playing aggressive and using our speed. The first goal shouldnt have happened as it should have been 4 on 4 with that cross check to the face that went missed. (was it Keith?) who even slowed down with the puck thinking he was going.
Carcillo also had a questionable trip to get that puck for their second goal.
All in all - we are playing good. This is the type of game where I ignore possession. We are letting the hawks cycle but the scoring chances are very limited.

Loving this team!
Just keep skating and chasing down pucks and they can take this one.

With Russell out, there's a big hole. I hope he gets back next game.

The Flames don't get enough zone time, but when they do get the cycle going, I absolutely love how much they move around and how fast they are skating.
The old standing still except for the puck possessor sucked. This 5 man offensive hurricane is fricking awesome

Its too bad but I feel like Treliving and Burke have to love what Wideman is doing as he could be prime trade bait. 31 years old and with the season he is having, someone may overpay.

Nice work by Ferland too on that second goal getting his big butt in front of Crawford!

Of course, Dennis Wideman is now tied in goals with both Alex Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby.

Just Flames being Flames.
