Just to quell som hysteria, Rhett warrener suffered a similar looking injury the first round of the 2004 playoffs and did not have permanent injury as a result.
Hope Giordano is similar.

Hope Giordano is ok. This sucks. If it is indeed an eye injury I hope its just a scratched cornea. That heals pretty quick. I had a bad one a few years back and took a week to fully heal.

As an aside I had a scratched cornea a few years ago where I had gauged out a large chunk. Took about 2 days to heal then was fine.
Edit: Gio returns!
Looked like his eyebrow?
