I wouldn't be shocked to see Bennett stay up for 9 games, but I would be very shocked to see him stick all season. It's great that he's playing well now, but I'd rather see him play junior one more season, bulk up, get stronger, dominate in the OHL and help lead the WJC team. The Flames will be bad this season, there's no reason at all to rush the kid.

Selfishly, I want to watch him play with the Flames. In reality though, that's not likely what's best for his development

Sounds like Ramo is hellbent on stealing the previously assumed starter job from Hiller. Won't surprise me in the least if he does. Can't believe he shut down the Avs onslaught in the first having almost no prior game time in the preseason. He took his game to a new level back in february and hasn't looked back.

Ferland sure helped his stock tonight. I have no idea who's going to replace who when it all shakes out but a few of these kids are impressing me far more on an NHL level than I thought they would.. Gaudreau tonight just proves again that even on an overall less impressive night, he'll find his moment to strike and make an impact. He just won't go a whole game without giving the opposition some grief.
