For me, Vic Rauter is curling.

Definitely made it way closer than it should have been. Both teams were all over the place.

Gagnon did about what was expected in the Downhill portion, we'll see how she does in Slalom, but some good Slalom competitors are 1-1.5 seconds ahead of her.

Is Marie-Michele Gagnon's medal hope gone? seems like 1.5 seconds is an eternity to make up in skiing.

It's extremely unlikely. She might post a top 5 time in the slalom but I don't think the combination will be enough. It'd be nice to see her make the top 10 though.

Can't wait until Wednesday when hockey starts. 10am for Sweden/Czech Republic right off the bat, which should make for a good game.

Just thinking if figure skating can have a team event why not alpine skiing. Combined times for several disciplines for the men and women and mixed. You can probably do this for some other sports too. I bring this up cause I think that team figure skating was silly.

Not really any sillier than the team swimming events in the summer games. At least the 4x100 relay has a different skillset involved in making sure the handoff is good

Figure skating as a "team" event felt a little emotionally...hollow. I like the concept of more team events, and I see no reason skiing wouldn't work better than the others. An actual team sport that should be in the Olympics is Dual Moguls. So much harder than solo.

Short track up soon!

I don't know what team events in swimming your talking about other than relays. Is there any event in swimming where they take individual results and combine there times or finishing position? I guess it could take off and have a history like gymnastics eventually.
