very close call, if it went directly into the net from the high stick it would of been no goal for sure, but being called down for a high stick, it was very close, it was right at his shoulders.

It's stupid that if they had called the high stick on the shot, it would be reviewable, but because it was called on the knock-down, there's no review.

Holy craps...buffalo just lost with 14 secs to go in the 3rd... we will be picking 3rd because Edmonton and buffalo are determined to suck more than us..

It isnt hard to figure out... Everyone wants to win, but with a loss nobody should really be THAT dissapointed
But cheering for losses, as you were/are doing is horribly Edmonton Oilers of you, and should be shamed upon any team in any league of any sport.

WTF? They were up 2-1 when I switched back to the Flames game for the start of the third. They lose 4-3 in regulation.

The reason the call wasn't reviewable is because the puck was high-sticked down, and then a shot was taken, as opposed to being high-sticked into the net directly.
It would work the same way if the scenario was reversed. They wouldn't be able to review a missed glove pass that turned into a goal, only if the puck was gloved into the net for example.
It's a weird quirk to the rules when a high-stick or glove pass occurs right before a goal/potential goal.
I'd imagine they make such a distinction, otherwise people would begin to argue you should be able to go back 5 seconds, 20 seconds, 45 seconds, etc. in a play and show there was a high-stick or glove pass and disallow a goal.

I was talking to one of the members in their organization today that was just a wee bit frustrated with how things are going. The only reason I mention it was it totally upset my whole day, the guy was rude, brash, and plain mean in general, and I have to talk to him tomorrow morning again
