Combine them and you get 1 real legitimate NHL defender.
They are like George and Jerry.

I'm just thankful neither are logging 20 minutes/night. Butler just simply isn't a top 4 guy, and obviously neither is SOB.
I'm going to call that pairing the Misfits.

I honestly don't understand how that was a valid goal. He stops.
I thought you weren't allowed to do that?

This team looks so much better than they have in years. Grinder style Calgary Flames are back!

Shouldn't each team get their own broadcast, start to finish?

Ideally, yeah it'd be great.
However, I understand why they want to keep the costs down and choose not to do that.

Oh good, Eric Francis is here to save the Sportsnet broadcast from Valk.
It's like a Saturday Night Live skit.

Yeah, maybe. I guess if they aren't directly responsible for a goal against it's a great night for them.
You can already assume there will be a pretty big upgrade in that pairing next season. We just have to suck it up for now, I guess.

I truly believe that after reading vancouvers msg boards, and listening on tv to this dumb ass pacific panel, that all canucks fan's are delusional ... Lack looked like crap that whole period. Not one person predicted that Flames would win this game on their stupid boards.. haha lets prove these crack smoking fans wrong.

New ice equipment this year right?
What's the problem then? Is it that Calgary weather/humidity? The old Saddledome's insultation? The ice-maker people?

Maybe its because they had the ice out last night for a concert and never started putting it back in until after 1 AM?

I agree that Canucks fans are crack smoking ass hats, but Lack looked good I think.
